About Emilee
BSN-RN, Functional Medicine Certified
Emilee is the owner & founder of Wild Elevation Co. She believes healthcare should feel thoughtful, personal, and rooted in understanding the whole person, not only their symptoms.
Emilee has been in the healthcare industry for 10+ years and spent her most recent years as an emergency nurse. The ER sharpened the skills she brings to every client today:
-
Critical thinking: Connecting scattered symptoms, labs, and history into a clear picture.
-
Pattern recognition: Noticing what's happening across systems, not just in one.
-
Calm under pressure: Staying steady and clear so clients feel safe, even when their results may feel overwhelming.
-
Asking the right questions: Listening for what's missing from the story, not just what's said.
-
Plain-language communication: Explaining complex information in a way that makes sense.
-
Knowing when to refer: Recognizing when something needs a higher level of care than what we can provide.
It also showed her how often people reach crisis before they ever look for deeper answers.
Her own struggles with health prompted her to look closer. Digging deeper uncovered a combination of thyroid autoimmunity, a compromised gut, and chronic infections that were taxing her immune system and required a completely different approach from how she had previously been supporting her health. She had to step back from stressors such as night shift and heavy weightlifting to focus on calming her immune system and inflammation.
She also watched close loved ones be let down in their health by the conventional healthcare system. Together, those experiences opened her mind to how many options there are for caring for ourselves, and led her to functional medicine - and the creation of Wild Elevation Co.
Why This Work Matters
Emilee's mission is to introduce people to functional medicine and holistic intervention, and to a broader view of what care can look like (before they reach their breaking point). There are far more ways to care for your health than most people are ever shown, and she believes everyone deserves to have access to them.
Her work is built on education. She wants clients to have the full picture: how their bodies work, what their results mean, and which options exist, from conventional to functional to holistic. With that understanding, they can make decisions that fit their own beliefs, values and lives.
Empowered health care starts with health literacy. When you understand your body and your options, you're no longer guessing or waiting to be told what to do. You're an informed partner in your own care, with the confidence to choose your path and the knowledge to find the right support along the way.
